Triple Chocolate Cherry & Pecan Cookies
PLEASE do not over bake these cookies, in fact you want them to be slightly underdone, otherwise that melty, ooey gooey center will be a hard cardboard hockey puck. Not cute.
Recipe Ingredients
⅔ cup all purpose flour
½ + ⅛ cup cocoa powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons butter, softened
½ cup sugar
¼ cup packed brown sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
2 ounces 72% cacao belgian dark chocolate, finely chopped (I got mine at Trader Joe's, you can substitute any kind of good quality dark chocolate
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup dried tart cherries
½ cup toasted pecans, chopped
